Grown in the Exclusive Santa Lucia Highlands

Windstream Wines are crafted using grapes grown only in the exclusive Santa Lucia Highlands. Sandy loam, rolling fog, afternoon sun, and a gentle sea breeze come together to create a microclimate that adds depth of flavor and a full, balanced acidity. With only 34 square miles defined as part of this American Viticultural Area, only a few wines are produced for sale, boasting these rare grapes. Once picked, these wines age in French barrels, which give them a richer color, tones of vanilla, and intriguing aromatics.

Well-Balanced, Rich Notes Create Sips Worth Savoring

Roll our Pinot Noir around your mouth and discover notes of plum, dark cherry, and raspberry, while its French oak lends a hint of cedar to its depth. The Chardonnay grapes hang on their vines for an extended time, developing intricate flavor notes and a smooth acidity ready for a seaside dining experience.

Steeped in History While Treating Modern Palates

Historians have documented winemaking in this region since the 1700s. Today, we grow the Pinot Noir and Chardonnay grapes on the slopes of our Sarmento Vineyard. The results are grapes featuring distinct aromatics and intriguing flavors that perfectly complement modern dynamic menu choices.

Our Windstream Wines, grown in California, have hit all the right notes with the experts, earning over 90 points from Wine Enthusiast, Tastings.com, Tasting Panel, and Vinous over the years. Our family strives to release only vintages that are worthy of your discerning palate.
