2019 Maddalena Rosé, Paso Robles
Quality begins in the vineyards. The Riboli Family established estate vineyards in Paso Robles in order to ensure the ultimate level of grape quality. The Paso Robles appellation of San Luis Obispo County provides a dry climate with warm days and cool nights. Fully mature grapes concentrate ripe flavors and aromas.
Our dedication to quality continues in the cellar, where winemakers Anthony Riboli and Arnaud Debons employ traditional techniques to create a flavorful style with ripe fruit and soft tannins. All vineyard lots are fermented seperately to preserve the individual flavors and terroir of each parcel of land. After fermentation, wines are aged in oak barrels from numerous American coopers. Careful blending creates the greatest degree of complexity and ensures consistency of style from vintage-to-vintage.
Maddalena Rosé is a bright, luscious wine with ripe red plum and raspberry flavors. The nose reveals aromas of yellow peach and fresh berries. This wine is well-balanced with body, crisp acidity, and a lengthy finish.
Sustainability is our top priority. Our Paso Robles and Monterey vineyards are certified sustainable by CSWA. At our Paso Robles winery, solar panels provide 100% of the needed electricity, and wastewater is effectively reclaimed and recycled for additional uses.
Maddalena Rosé comes only from the best lots that our estate vineyards have to offer. Small lots are picked and fermented individually with minimal intervention to allow the true expression of the soil and climate. The wines are fermented in stainless steel tanks.
Enjoy alone or with myriad appetizers and light dishes, such as Chinese chicken salad, pasta with a light tomato cream sauce, and grilled salmon.
