The Riboli saga began well over 100 years ago, when Santo Cambianica and his brothers founded a winery named after the Patron Saint Anthony. Stefano and Maddalena Riboli took over in 1937 and, after decades of success in Los Angeles, expanded their focus to include Monterey County and eventually, the remarkable (and decidedly underrated) Paso Robles. We’ve reached our fourth generation of wine enthusiasts and remain as committed to our central vision as ever: connecting the community over our shared love of wine.
Paso Robles
Paso Robles is becoming a big name in California wine, and we’re pleased to have been at the forefront. We’re deeply proud of our Paso Robles wine estate and eager to see what the future holds.
Our Paso Robles vineyards occupy the El Pomar District American Viticultural Area (AVA) — a renowned region defined by warm daytime temperatures and cool afternoon breezes.
Cabernet Sauvignon is the definite star of the show, but other varietals also thrive: Primitivo at the Maddalena Vineyard, for example, plus Petit Verdot and Petite Sirah in the Stefano Vineyard. We’re thrilled that these vineyards pay homage to the visionaries (Maddalena and Stefano Riboli) who shaped our winemaking legacy.
Paso Robles is also home to our premier tasting room along with the Maddalena Bistro. It’s the perfect place to sample the finest selections from our estate vineyards.
Monterey
Multiple Monterey vineyards round out the exceptional San Antonio Winery lineup. They’re the perfect reminder of the sheer versatility of winemaking in the Monterey wine region of California. Here, wines gain crisp acidity due to morning fog and ocean breezes.
The El Camino Real Vineyard brings Chardonnay and Pinot Noir varietals to the heart of the Arroyo Seco wine-making region. There’s no denying their fresh, bright flavors, made possible by cool conditions.
The Rancho Soledad Vineyard is a Riesling powerhouse. Named for the Soledad Mission and marked by the cool climate, this Monterey vineyard also produces the aromatic Gewürztraminer along with Pinot Gris.
Of course, we have to mention the acclaimed Santa Lucia Highlands AVA. It’s earned a solid reputation for its Chardonnay and Pinot Noir — centerpieces of San Antonio Winery’s Sarmento Vineyard. Again, morning fog makes all the difference, supporting world-class varietals that create fresh and bright wines.
Another Santa Lucia Highlights standout? Doctors Vineyard. Climbing into the highlands, this delivers yet another Pinot Noir hotspot.

Where can I purchase Riboli Family wines from San Antonio Winery?
You have plenty of options. You can shop the full collection online, where you’ll find estate wines, gift bundles, personalized labels, merch, and virtual gift cards. You can also purchase wines in person at any of the three tasting rooms in Los Angeles, Ontario, or Paso Robles, or pick them up at select retailers and restaurants. Does San Antonio Winery ship wine to my state?
The winery ships to more than 30 states across the U.S. via UPS Ground, including California, Texas, New York, Florida, Illinois, and many more. Because of state regulations, a few imported wines can’t be shipped to Indiana, Iowa, Maryland, Wisconsin, or Ohio. For a current shipping map and the full list of approved states, check the Shipping, Delivery & Refunds page on sanantoniowinery.com. Heads up: an adult age 21+ must be available to sign for the shipment, since carriers can’t leave wine packages unattended.​
Can I buy wine in person at a San Antonio Winery tasting room?
Yes, in all three locations, the original Los Angeles winery on Lamar Street, the Ontario tasting room, and the Paso Robles estate (home to the Maddalena Bistro) offer in-person bottle purchases alongside hosted tastings. ​
