You love everything available to do in the city of Long Beach, from exploring the Aquarium of the Pacific to cheering for your driver in the Grand Prix of Long Beach. But where can you find the best wines produced in California while learning about the process without driving all day out to Wine Country?

San Antonio Winery, located nearby in Los Angeles, offers tours, tastings, and a unique dining experience right here in Los Angeles County.

What is the quickest route from Long Beach?

We are situated at 737 Lamar Street. It only takes about 45 minutes to reach us by car.

  • From Shoreline Drive in Long Beach, cross the Los Angeles River and hop on Interstate 710 North.
  • After about 16 miles, stay left to merge onto the Santa Ana Freeway North.
  • Follow signs to stay on Interstate 5 North toward Sacramento.
  • Get off the freeway at Exit 136A/Main Street, and turn right at the light onto Daly Street.
  • At the second intersection, take a right onto North Main Street.
  • After about half a mile, take the left onto Lamar Street, and you will see our beautiful winery on the right-hand side.

A spacious parking lot is located just past our entrance. We are also within walking distance of the DASH and Metro public transit stops.

Indulge in a Wine Tour and Private Tastings

We invite all our visitors from Belmont Shores and Naples to take full advantage of all our activities. Add to your wine collection after experiencing the best of our grapes with a steward-led tasting tableside or in our Stefano Cellar.

Learn more about the art of wine making when you take one of our winery tours that explore our history, our different vineyards across California, and how we age our wines before bottling. Reservations for these events are encouraged, especially when arriving with a group.

Elegant Italian Dining Worthy of the Ride

Of course, the best way to experience a glass of Maddalena is when it is accompanied by an impeccably prepared meal. While you are here, take a seat in our Maddalena Restaurant or outside at the 1917 Wine Bar & Bistro. From family-style fare to an exquisite charcuterie board, our menu offers something memorable for everyone seated at the table.

Before you leave, visit our Wine and Gift Shop and take home a bottle or three of your favorite vintage and relive your visit at your next Long Beach dinner party.

Do you have more questions or want to make a reservation? Give us a call at our San Antonio Winery in Los Angeles at (323) 223-1401. We look forward to your next visit.
