Our family’s dedication extends beyond the art of making fine
wine to the science of growing exceptional grapes.
We cultivate vineyards in some of the most prestigious regions of California, famed for producing exquisite wines. In fact, we count some of the most world-renown wineries and vineyards as our neighbors!
We purchased our first vineyard property in Monterey County in 1988. Our vineyards have since spread throughout the Santa Lucia Highlands, Arroyo Seco, and Soledad appellations. They are named Sarmento, Loma Vista, El Camino Real, and Rancho Soledad. Our esteemed neighbors include Pisoni, Hahn Estates, Talbott, and Paraiso.
In 1986, we purchased property in the prestigious Rutherford appellation of Napa Valley along the Silverado Trail. Our flagship Riboli Family Vineyard has been meticulously replanted to modern clones of Cabernet Sauvignon and Petit Verdot. Our neighbors include Beaulieu Vineyard, Caymus, and ZD Wines.
In 2012, we acquired two properties within the El Pomar appellation of Paso Robles near the town of Templeton. We are currently planting the new Stefano and Maddalena Vineyards. Paso Robles is known for its warm days and drastic temperature drops in the evenings. This helps produce vibrant color, rich fruit, and complex structure in the grapes. Our neighbors include Justin, Pomar Junction, and Wildhorse.
As in every step of the winemaking process, we have paid special attention to the cultivation of our vineyards and are confident you’ll taste the fruits of this passion in the complexity of our wines. Visit us today to find out for yourself!

Along California’s Central Coast, the Paso Robles appellation of San Luis Obispo County provides an ideal climate for growing Merlot. A dry climate with warm days allows for complete maturation of the grapes and creates ripe fruit flavors. The maritime influence of the Pacific Ocean creates very cool nights, which preserve the natural acid balance of the grapes.
